Woburn Little League participates in the USA Softball Middle Essex Summer League along with other towns. The Middle-Essex Summer League is a competitive league which has featured games in the past against teams such as Lowell, Reading, Tewksbury and others. As part of the Summer Softball, Woburn Little League encourages all players & teams to participate in raising fund for the Jimmy Fund!

Teams are separated into 3 Divisions

Grades are based on the 2023/2024 School year. Registration will be on a 1st come 1st serve basis based upon payment, with registrants capped at 30 individuals. Payment is due at the time of registration. All registrants after 30 will be waitlisted until we are able to successfully add a 3rd team. Specific team requests can not be honored.

For the 2024 Season, 14U Softball will feature an A & B team given registration numbers. All other divisions will be split equally between 2 B-level teams.

Since 2021, Woburn Little League has raised over $108,000 for the Dana-Farber Institute & The Jimmy Fund during the summer Jimmy Fund Little League.

 

Jimmy Fund Little League presented by Franklin Sports provides more than 5,000 Little League baseball and softball players throughout New England the chance to continue playing after their regular season ends, while fundraising for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These players raise vital funds for the Jimmy Fund while learning the importance of philanthropy and volunteerism, and that they, too, can make a difference in the fight against cancer.
